It is my theory that in order to appreciate a song, you have to appreciate where it came from. Especially when it’s dopeshit.

At the moment, music is in a slump spiraling downward so fast Ron Browz and DJ Web Star have albums and deals.  On top of that, they have the BALLS to talk about one of hip-hop’s greatest… Jay-Z! Talk about the audacity of hope! Those two can only dream of ever being that successful!! They shouldn’t even be allowed to comment when they put out tracks like “BFF” or “Jumping Out the Window…”. My head is still spinning.

I say all that to prove the point that most of the “original, yet surprisingly not so much” music is garbage today and the rare gems are most likely samples passed off as some new dopeshit.

Tis a rare occasion that I even listen to the radio… I try to avoid it but my ipod died so I was forced to grin and bear it the other day. I heard a track by some boys name Mook N Fair. I know, worse than Rin & Tin, the Hip Hop Dalamations. SMH. Now the track is ass but they truly sampled some dopeshit which is sure to make up where their lyrical skills lack.

Enjoy!!

Now you need an example of a sample executed PROPERLY. Earlier this June, Jay released a certified banger “D.O.A – Death of Autotune” and not only is the sample oh so dope, Jay’s flow is even better!!! Making “Death of Autotune” a classic!!

Here is the original… Enjoy!! Oh & if you have hair… let it loose… this is definitely some head banging shit…
